White Water Rafting

Whitewater Rafting

Río Pacuare (clase III- IV)

All Day Adventure

$60.00

The adventure begins when the tour buses arrive at Portantorchas between 6.00 a.m. and 7.00 a.m.

In route to the river, there is a stop for a typical Costa Rican breakfast at the Restaurante Sanchirí, where we have a spectacular view of the Orosí valley.

When we arrive at the river’s edge, everyone is given a life jacket, a helmet, and an oar. There is a short training session before heading down the class III/IV rapids.

The Pacuare is considered to be one of the most beautiful rivers in Costa Rica and the river’s surroundings make it the best place to white water raft. The trip is closet o 18 miles long and you’ll be on the river for about 3 ½ hours.

At the stopping point, there are change rooms and showers. Shortly afterward, we are off to the Ellis Café located in Siquirres, where we have a delicious lunch.

We’ll be back to San José between 5:30 p.m and 6:30 p.m.
